YESCOM Singapore

Young Entrepreneur Skills Competition 2008

A yearly competition, jointly organized by

The Association of Malay Entrepreneurs & Berita Harian.

Partners: Singapore Management University, Ventures

Supported by : Central Singapore CDC, Energy Utilities Employees Cooperatives & Islamic Welfare Promotion Association.

This is the 4th year, and the participating Schools and Organisation have grown every year. 44 schools/teams have signed up, but only 31 teams have been chosen, based on a first-come-first-serve & due to space constraint of the venue for the Grand Finale.

The scope of the competition is for the team to establish a "business", the appropriate products, fixing their prices, promoting & securing sales.

All participants have to attend the followings :-
Half day workshop (22 Apr 2008)
Full day seminar (17 May 2008)
Grand Finale at HDB HUB - Toa Payoh Central (6 July 2008)

Our MoneyTree's Team comprising of students from our MoneyTree Programme is up against the other School Teams from Primary, Secondary & Junior College Team (aged 10 to 17 yrs).
